Wire Wrapped bead samples

By trish

20120709-154940.jpg

here are two new copper wire wrapped pendants I’m working on… samples for class.

Samples are incredibly important, so that students can see what a finished object might look like – I often make several samples for “in process” demonstrations as well. With some wireworking techniques, I have giant wire I demo on! Interesting to wrangle with for sure, but much easier for everyone in class to see. Someone needs to make some giant pliers to demo with, and I’ll be all set.

These particular pendants have dangles, coils and wraps to give students ideas for their own projects.

just two weeks until Intro to Jewelry!

PS – the earrings I’m wearing are a simple chain maille design (taught in Intro to Jewelry!)
