Felted Ornaments Workshops – November 26 & December 3

By trish

Felting, Dyeing & Needle Art Workshops

This course includes 2 three-hour workshops.

Hand make your very own felted wool & embroidered ornaments and pins from scratch in this pair of workshops. Many different fiber art techniques are explored in class- if you prefer to take just one class for the specific techniques offered, you are most welcome!

1. Wet Felting & Kettle Dyeing
Learn how to hand make wool felt and the art of kettle dyeing wool! In this workshop you will use soap, warm water and some “elbow grease” to create sheets of felt for ornament making in class two. You will hand-dye each felt piece through a technique called kettle dyeing, which creates many beautiful color effects.
