Fave design projects of the year

By trish

The most unusual project I worked on? Hands down, the topographic map tablecloths for an outdoor wedding. They took more time and research than I ever thought at the outset, and came out fabulously. A great learning experience. No pics, private client, sorry 🙂 My favorite logo projects this year – Why Not Wine and Bennington Early Childhood Center. Both are much more illustrative logos than I typically design, loved the evolution of each project, and my clients. They in turn are quite happy with how the logos reflect their businesses!

Top website projects of the year: Kate’s Thoughts for Food and Karma Cat Yoga – both are re-vamps, one of a previous site, the other from a blog.

kclogoKarma Cat Yoga was a revamp of my own web design from last year, I think the new structure makes it easier to access more areas of the site, as well as the workshop and shopping sections- plus, the overall feel reflects the studio and the experience so much more.

Kate’s Thoughts for Food was a total overhaul, involving not only a full site transfer and build, but also video, and some complex e-commerce structuring. The final result was really perfect for Kate’s business – a beautiful, inspiring place to revel in food and meal planning, with easy access to the online shop.
